THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry and operational change to join a compact and dynamic project management / PMO team. This role is responsible for identifying, scoping, researching and structuring a range of strategic projects which will include manufacturing improvements, capital investment, production efficiency, process optimisation, operational change, facilities, and business transformation.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, we are looking for a candidate who is confident working in corporate structures whilst understanding operational and technical requirements in order to deliver effective projects that improve capacity, performance, productivity and support the company's strategic objectives.
It is likely that you will have delivered projects in various functions and enjoy new and diverse challenges where you can have a significant impact in the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will:
* Demonstrate ability to take ownership of, scope, structure and drive projects from early stages.
* Have a robust understanding of manufacturing industry and a technical / engineering background which will allow you to quickly grasp manufacturing and operational issues.
* Work autonomously but also cohesively with local and remote colleagues, coordinating with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
* Take the lead on project teams and influence outcomes, managing multiple projects concurrently.
* Capture lessons learned and ensure projects are managed in line with company governance and continuous improvement principles.
* Monitor project progress and budgets, report to senior leadership, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
