We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced education professional to make a real difference to pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups and classes, support pupil progress, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned learning activities and interventions.
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
Use ICT effectively to support learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and external professionals.
Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
About You
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
English and Maths qualifications equivalent to Level 2 or above.
Good understanding of child development and learning.
Confident supporting students across a range of subjects, including Maths.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
