SHEQ Manager required for a Manufacturing company based in West Bromwich, B70, paying c£45000 - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week - Permanent opportunity
Our client is part of an award winning, internationally recognised business that supplies their finished products to the aerospace, surgical implants and power generation industries amongst others.
The role of SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for:
Supporting and maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems across West bromwich and Gloucester site
Developing and reviewing risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
Ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety Legislation, Environmental Permits, Waste Management Regulations
Supporting and maintaining ISO management systems including: AS9100, ISO45001 and ISO14001
Conducting audits, inspections and monitoring compliance across operational site
Investigating incidents, near misses and environmental events, identifying root causes
Supporting fire risk assessments, planning and pollution prevention measures
Working closely with regulators, auditors, contractors and customers on compliance matters.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, environmental performance and operational excellence
Delivering training when required
For your application for the role of SHEQ Manager to be successful you will need the following:
NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum, with professional membership such as IOSH or IEMA desirable
Experience maintaining and improving AS9100, ISO45001 and ISO14001 systems
Previous Manufacturing experience
Strong audit, investigation and root cause analysis
Ability to challenge constructively and build credibility across the sites
Able to travel to West bromwich and Gloucester
Strong team player
Full driving licence
