Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a market-leading contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, genuine career progression, and an exceptional reputation within the industry?

Our client, a leading main contractor based in Hertfordshire, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. Operating across London projects, this business is cash rich, has excellent staff retention, a full order book, and continues to secure major planned refurbishment frameworks across the social housing sector.

Recognised as a market leader within their field, our client delivers a range of planned refurbishment programmes including internal and external works, alongside major SHDF decarbonisation and fire remediation projects.

Offering hybrid working and a genuine focus on work-life balance, this business combines the security and structure of an established contractor with a modern and flexible approach to working.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering social housing planned refurbishment projects and will ideally have previous experience working on similar occupied refurbishment programmes, with an understanding of the unique challenges associated with working in live resident environments.

Key requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
• Experience delivering social housing planned refurbishment projects
• Exposure to occupied refurbishment programmes would be highly advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project lifecycle management
• Ability to manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, cost reporting and final accounts
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
