Paralegal - Private Client

Location: York

Contract: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable

An established legal team is seeking a proactive Private Client Paralegal to support wills, probate, estate administration, and related private client matters.

You will manage your own caseload, assist with estate administration, prepare legal documents and correspondence, support LPA applications, and attend client meetings as required.

Working closely with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, courts, and senior legal professionals, you will help ensure matters progress efficiently and deadlines are met. The role combines legal drafting, research, client liaison, and administrative support, requiring excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

Legal drafting and document preparation
Legal research using approved databases
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal systems
Law degree (2:1 or above) essential; LPC or SQE desirable
