The successful SEN TA will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to ensure pupils receive tailored assistance that enables them to access learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress.

About the Role

As a SEN TA, you will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, working both one-to-one and in small groups. You will help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Adapt learning materials to meet individual pupil requirements
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic developmentAbout You

The ideal SEN TA will have:

A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
The ability to adapt to different learning needs
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
