Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking to join a well-established contractor delivering essential infrastructure projects across the UK?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor that delivers a wide range of projects within the water and wastewater sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supervisor who thrives on leading teams, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high quality.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required specification.

You'll lead site teams and subcontractors, coordinate daily activities, monitor quality, and maintain exceptional health and safety standards. Acting as the key point of contact on site, you'll resolve issues quickly, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and keep projects progressing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.

Lead and motivate site operatives and subcontractors.

Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with programme requirements.

Monitor quality and ensure work meets company and client standards.

Carry out site inspections and maintain accurate site records.

Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental compliance.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and suppliers.

Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.

Support the successful delivery of projects from start to completion.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with experienced supervisors who can confidently manage teams and drive performance on site. Ideally, you'll have:

Previous experience supervising construction or civil engineering projects.

Experience working within the water or wastewater utilities sector.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

A proactive approach to health, safety and quality.

SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

Valid CSCS Card.

Full UK Driving Licence.
