Are you an enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a role that offers variety without the responsibility of your own class? Or are you an ECT searching for a supportive school to begin your teaching career?

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hackney is looking to welcome a PPA Teacher to its team from September. This permanent opportunity will see you teaching across EYFS to Key Stage 2, ensuring pupils continue to receive engaging, high-quality lessons while class teachers undertake their PPA time.

The school is particularly keen to hear from Early Career Teachers, offering excellent guidance, mentoring and opportunities to develop from day one.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

✔ Permanent teaching position from September 2026

✔ Excellent induction and support for ECTs
✔ Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning
* Cover classes across the primary phase during PPA time

* Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child

We're Looking For Someone Who...

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Is an ECT or experienced primary teacher (ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply)
* Is confident adapting to different classrooms and year groups
* Has strong communication and classroom management skills
* Brings enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude to school life

The school is looking to appoint as soon as the right candidate is identified, with interviews taking place on a rolling basis.

If you're looking for a role that offers variety, excellent support and the opportunity to develop within a welcoming primary school, we'd love to hear from you
