Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and highly regarded primary school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, to recruit a caring and dedicated KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored one-to-one support for a Key Stage 2 pupil, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

The role is part-time, working mornings only (5 days per week) from September (or sooner for the successful candidate). There is the possibility for the position to increase to full-time hours from January, depending on the needs of the pupil and the school. The contract is offered on a minimum one-year basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff from April for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2
Be confident providing one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning or emotional needs
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver targeted support
Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent experience are required for this role
