TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is seeking to appoint an Income Officer.
Location: Gloucestershire
Start date: ASAP
Home-working: Three days working from home per week
Length of Contract: 12 months
Pay: £32,750 to £33,050
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Your duties in this role would include:
Chasing rent arrears from tenants, ranging in value of account
Arranging repayment plans with tenants and giving out benefits/UC advice
Offering advice on housing benefits to clients
Enabling clients to maximise their income
Attending clients' homes for visits to discuss their rental accounts
Handling court paperwork process, attending court if required and service notices
Helping clients to sustain their tenancies and signposting them to external support services
Essential requirements for this role:
Ability to support clients, ensuring they understand any issues and advising them
Experience in chasing rent arrears in some capacity
Ability to manage a patch of properties and manage time effectively
