Design Manager

Our client, a leading firm in the engineering and construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team for a WWTW project).

Overseeing the design processes to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget
Coordinating with various project stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution
Managing design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Leading design meetings and providing technical guidance to the design team
Ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications
Resolving any design-related issues that arise during project execution
Supporting the project team in understanding design requirements and expectations
Collaborating with contractors and suppliers to ensure design alignment and integration

Job Requirements:

Experience in design management within the engineering and construction industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency with design software and tools
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Experience in water treatment works or similar projects is desirable
Local to Oxford or within a commutable distance
