Revive Education are currently looking to recruit a Room Leader for a lovely nursery in Hounslow.
As a Room Leader (Baby Room / PreSchool), you will lead the day-to-day running of a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children. You will support the team to deliver high-quality early years provision, build strong parent partnerships, and ensure practice aligns with statutory requirements and best practice.
Salary
* £27,000–£28,500 per year (dependant on experience)
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week
Holiday Allowance
* 28 days per year
* + 1 day for your birthday (subject to setting needs)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support your room team to provide high-quality care and learning for children.
* Create a stimulating daily programme in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Ensure all children are safeguarded and cared for in a safe environment, following safeguarding procedures and nursery policies.
* Support the planning, observation, and assessment process, including recording children’s development in line with requirements.
* Maintain effective routines for feeding, sleep, hygiene, and transitions (especially relevant for Baby Room).
* Support positive behaviour and children’s emotional wellbeing using age-appropriate strategies.
* Promote parent/carer engagement through clear communication and regular updates.
* Work collaboratively with management and other rooms to support consistency across the setting.
* Ensure room standards are met for cleanliness, resources, documentation, and risk management.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience working in an early years setting (Baby Room and/or PreSchool preferred).
* Ability to lead a team and support staff development.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS, child development, and safeguarding.
* Excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents.
* Organisation, attention to detail, and strong ability to manage daily room routines.
Preferred Room / Age Group
* Baby Room and/or PreSchool leadership responsibilities
Personal Qualities
* Warm, reliable, and child-centred approach.
* Calm under pressure and committed to maintaining high standards.
