Quantity Surveyor – L&Q (East London)
* Project: L&Q contract - external works on scattered properties
* Salary: Up to £65k + car allowance + fuel card (available for both business and personal use)
* Location: East London
* Must have your own car
We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on the L&Q contract across East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works, with excellent career progression and long-term stability.
The role offers hybrid working, with attendance at the head office once a week for team meetings, and occasionally twice a week when required. The remainder of your time will be split between working from home and visiting sites across East London.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Monitoring project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
* Procuring and managing subcontractors.
* Producing cost reports and commercial forecasts.
* Building strong relationships with clients and operational teams.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing, planned maintenance, or construction.
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification is desirable
