Location: Bournville, Birmingham, B30
Weekly Pay: £500 - £525
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Long-term (Temp-to-Perm)Long Term Futures is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bournville. This role involves supporting whole-class learning, delivering small group interventions, supporting children with SEN and leading phonics sessions.
This is a long-term opportunity until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting whole-class teaching and learning
Delivering targeted small group interventions
Leading phonics sessions
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN 1:1
What the School is Looking For:
Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in a primary setting
Skills: Experience teaching phonics, leading interventions and supporting SEN
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum & Phonics
