Robert Half are looking for a IT Business Analyst to support business and technology change across a complex, highly regulated environment in Bedford. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, and help deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency, security, and business growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions and analyse technical and operational environments.
  • Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
  • Create process maps, logical diagrams, and operational documentation.
  • Assess systems, applications, and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support solution delivery.
  • Perform feasibility and impact assessments for change initiatives.
  • Maintain and prioritise requirements backlogs.
  • Engage with stakeholders across technology, operations, project management, and leadership teams.
  • Support continuous improvement and business transformation activities.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong business analysis experience.
  • Requirements elicitation and management expertise.
  • Process analysis and process improvement experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • BCS Diploma (or equivalent Business Analysis qualification).
  • SC Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Desirable

  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certification.
  • Defence sector experience.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Knowledge of MOD or Government assurance frameworks and standards.
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Power BI, Spotfire, or similar.
