About the Opportunity

Talented People Solutions are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative manufacturer within the beverage equipment industry. Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing After Sales team, providing installation, servicing and technical support across a wide customer base.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll receive full support, ongoing training and the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a respected and growing business.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across the North of the UK, carrying out installations, planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of commercial beverage equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Installing, servicing and repairing commercial equipment at customer sites.

* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.

* Providing customers with training on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment.

* Recording technical findings and completing service documentation accurately.

* Reporting recurring faults and identifying opportunities for product improvements.

* Supporting the Sales team with technical expertise where required.

* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service.

* Planning daily workloads and travel routes efficiently, responding to urgent breakdowns when required.

* Working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

* Always Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

About You

We're looking for an engineer with strong fault-finding abilities and a customer-focused approach.

Ideally you will have:

* A recognised Engineering qualification (A-Level or equivalent as a minimum).

* Experience working with electrical and hydraulic systems.

* Previous experience servicing, maintaining or repairing technical equipment.

* Experience working with pressurised boiler systems.

* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Good IT skills and the ability to complete service reports accurately.

* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

* A flexible approach to travel, including regular overnight stays.

* A full UK Driving Licence.

· Experience working with commercial coffee machines, bean-to-cup equipment, espresso machines or similar catering equipment is beneficial
