Salary: £13.25phr

Job Responsibilities

Provide compassionate support and guidance to residents in a supported housing environment, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Monitor and review each resident's progress, developing personalised support plans to facilitate their journey towards independent living.

Assist residents in accessing move-on accommodation and other community resources when they are ready to transition.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions, progress, and support plans in accordance with organisational policies.

Ensure the safety and security of the accommodation units, including adherence to health and safety regulations.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders to deliver holistic support services.

Respond effectively to emergencies and provide 24-hour cover as part of a committed team.

Promote a positive, respectful environment that encourages resident engagement and independence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience working within supported housing, social care, or related fields is desirable.

Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Diploma in Housing, Social Care, or equivalent are preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and support diverse individuals.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Competence in record-keeping and report writing using standard IT systems.

Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards residents' circumstances.

Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and work flexible hours, including overnight shifts if required.
