Salary: £52,000 - £54,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Days & Nights

The Role
As part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated manufacturing and packaging equipment, helping to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out electrical and/or mechanical fault finding.
Repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Using the site's CMMS to record maintenance activities, manage assets and support planned maintenance.
Supporting reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Working closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience working with PLC-controlled and automated machinery (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Apprentice trained, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
A proactive engineer who enjoys solving problems and contributing to continuous improvement.
