Are you looking for a hands-on role with long-term career prospects? We are recruiting for a Construction Laboratory Technician to join a busy materials testing team based in Uxbridge.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with full training provided, making it ideal for candidates from warehouse, production, manufacturing, construction, labouring, quality control or technical backgrounds.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Regular overtime availablePay

£12.71 per hourDuties

Preparing, handling and testing construction material samples
Working within a materials testing laboratory environment
Recording and reporting test results accurately
Following laboratory procedures and health & safety guidelines
Assisting with laboratory housekeeping and maintenance
Ensuring equipment is used correctly and maintained
Travelling to different sites when required
Working as part of a team to meet testing deadlinesEssential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence to travel between different sites as required
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow procedures and instructions
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learnDesirable

CSCS Card
Previous experience within construction, warehouse, manufacturing, quality control or laboratory environmentsBenefits Upon Permanent Employment
