About the Opportunity
Are you a hands-on, proactive Site Manager looking for your next challenge in the heart of London? We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temp-to-perm position, starting with a fast-paced 3-month commercial refurbishment project in the City of London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to prove yourself on a high-spec project with a view to transitioning into a permanent, long-term role within our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
As the Site Manager, you will be the driving force on-site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Your daily duties will include:

Subcontractor & Labour Management: Directing, coordinating, and managing both specialist subcontractors and direct site labourers.

Health & Safety: Full ownership of site safety, including managing and enforcing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), conducting rigorous safety inspections, and delivering engaging tool box talks.

Technical Coordination: Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings, identifying discrepancies early, and ensuring the team builds to specification.

Programme Management: Monitoring the project timeline, managing day-to-day logistics, tracking progress against the master schedule, and proactively resolving delays.

Quality Control & Reporting: Maintaining high standards of workmanship, keeping accurate site diaries, and providing regular updates to the Project Manager.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager, specifically within fast-track commercial or high-end refurbishments.

Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a CSCS Card (Black card preferred).

Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong leadership ability, and a sharp eye for detail. You must be highly organized and capable of managing tight schedules in tight footprint City locations.

Availability: Ready to start at short notice for the initial 3-month contract, with a genuine desire to transition into a permanent role.
