Vehicle Technician - Newport, South Wales
We are working with a reputable independent automotive service centre in Newport, South Wales, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to develop their career within a well-established business servicing the Newport region for over 13 years.

Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Working hours from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch breakDuties of a Vehicle Technician :
Perform fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of premium vehicles
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings to the Business Directors
Ensure all safety and work quality procedures are adhered to in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy workshop environment
Support the team in meeting workload targets and maintaining customer satisfaction
Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance as required
Carry out MOT testing (if holding a valid Class MOT testing licence), although this is non-essentialRequirements of a Vehicle Technician :
IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Own comprehensive set of tools
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Motivated, committed, and able to work effectively within a team
Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced workshop
Previous experience working with premium or general vehicle servicing is highly desirable
