The Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager, you'll focus on generating new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships. You'll manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying prospects and qualifying opportunities through to presenting tailored IT solutions and successfully closing deals.
This is a genuine new business role where you'll be responsible for building your own pipeline using a variety of outbound sales techniques, including:
Cold calling
Email campaigns
LinkedIn prospecting
Networking events
Referrals
Business development campaignsWorking alongside experienced technical consultants, you'll develop tailored solutions that address your clients' business challenges and deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple industries.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting.
Engage with key decision-makers and establish long-term relationships.
Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs.
Present tailored solutions across Managed IT Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity.
Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure new business.
Accurately maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity.
Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience.About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in B2B sales, business development, lead generation, or IT sales.
Passionate about winning new business and developing client relationships.
Confident making outbound calls and generating opportunities through proactive sales activity.
A strong communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and driven to exceed targets.
Comfortable using CRM systems and managing a busy sales pipeline.
Ambitious, resilient, and looking to build a successful career within the technology sector.Previous experience selling Managed IT Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, or other IT solutions would be highly advantageous, but we're equally interested in speaking with motivated sales professionals who have the drive and determination to succeed.
