System Administrator | South Cambridge | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
I'm currently working with an established technology company based on the outskirts of South Cambridge that is looking to add a System Administrator to its growing infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an impressive client portfolio, working in a collaborative environment where you'll play a key role in maintaining and developing critical infrastructure.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for:
Implementing, maintaining, and managing server racks, internal networks, power, and cabling.
Installing and configuring customer equipment.
Maintaining infrastructure documentation and physical inventory using Git.
Troubleshooting Linux systems, networking, and test automation environments.
Deploying and maintaining core infrastructure, including switches, PDUs, and UPS systems.What We're Looking For
Strong Linux systems administration experience.
Solid networking knowledge, including VLANs, routing, link aggregation, and network troubleshooting.
Experience managing pfSense.
Understanding of rack installation best practices, including cabling, power distribution, and equipment placement.
A hands-on approach with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.What's on Offer
