Are you a nurturing individual looking to support pupils to reach their full potential?
TimePlan are looking for a Special Educational Needs teaching assistant! As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will -
Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, working closely with children with additional needs.
Be willing and able to assist students in their own Personal Care plan.
Understand special educational needs as defined in the SEN Code of Practise.
Be able to assist in the personal, emotional, and social development of students.
Have a caring nature and passion for their job.
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar) is avantageous but not essential.This rewarding opportunity is ideal for those with experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant wanting to progress in their career and build strong relationships with their students, making a positive impact on their lives.
