Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Time/Childcare Worker to join Cheshire East Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise contact sessions between children and their parents or family members

* Ensure all interactions are safe, appropriate, and child-centred

* Provide a supportive and neutral presence during visits

* Observe and accurately record behaviour, interactions, and any concerns

* Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately

* Set up and prepare contact spaces to ensure a welcoming environment

* Manage difficult situations calmly and professionally

* Work closely with social workers, family support teams, and other professionals

* Promote positive communication and healthy relationships where appropriate

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals

* Good communication and record-keeping skills

* Full UK Drivers Licence
