Type of Work - Supporting PE lessons, coaching sports teams, supervising pupils during playtimes and leading extracurricular clubs
Contract Start Date - September 2026
Duration / Likely Duration - 1 Academic Year
Contract End Date - July 2027
Contract Type - Fixed-Term Contract (with potential extension)
Full Time/Part Time - Full Time
Salary - £20,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours - 09:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Sports Science Degree, Sport-Related Degree, BTEC Sport or equivalent qualification
Coaching experience in a minimum of two sports
Passion for sport and physical education
Experience working with children is desirable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
Provide two professional references
Be at least 18 years old
Be willing to undergo all safeguarding and vetting checks required by the school
