Panel Beater

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / MET Technician for their prestigious bodyshop located in Weybridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled technician to work within a reputable, insurance-approved facility specialising in luxury and performance vehicles.
The Panel Beater / MET Technician will join a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality repairs, ensuring vehicles are returned to manufacturer standards with precision and care.
The role encompasses working on high-end vehicles such as Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, alongside everyday models, providing the opportunity to develop your expertise across a range of premium repairs.

Duties of a Panel Beater / MET Technician:
* Conduct vehicle assessments and accurately identify body damage and mechanical faults
* Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles
* Prepare damaged panels for repair using traditional panel beating and welding techniques
* Repair or replace structural and body panels, working with aluminium and composite materials
* Straighten and align vehicle frames according to manufacturer specifications ensuring safety standards
* Support the paint and finishing team with blending, polishing, and final inspections
* Perform quality control checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
* Maintain a tidy, safe workshop environment adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements of a Panel Beater / MET Technician:
* Proven experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician, ideally within a prestige or accident repair environment
* Proficiency in panel beating, welding, and mechanical repairs
* Knowledge of high-end vehicle repair methods, including composites and aluminium repairs
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
* Ability to work safely with electric and hybrid vehicle systems
* Good organisational skills to meet deadlines efficiently
