Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Central region team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Tamworth office with hybrid and flexible working.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of infrastructure and civil engineering projects, ensuring financial performance is maximised whilst maintaining the highest standards of project delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing project costs and commercial performance from inception to completion
Administering and managing contractual obligations and commitments
Producing and managing cost value reconciliations, forecasting and cost planning activities
Supporting project teams to identify efficiencies and value-engineering opportunities
Building effective relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Providing accurate commercial analysis, reporting and financial oversight across projects.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar qualification) or experience equivalent
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within heavy civils, working with NEC form of contract
Proven expertise in CVRs, cost planning and forecasting
Ability to build relationships with key project stakeholders and influencers
Strong organisational, analytical and reporting capabilities
Full UK driving licence.
