We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PDI Technician to join a reputable dealership in Guildford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified automotive professional to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Our client offers a competitive salary, modern facilities, and comprehensive manufacturer training.
Benefits of a PDI Technician:
Competitive basic salary of £32,000 per annum, with an on-target earning of up to £38,000
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, with no weekend work
22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
Full manufacturer training, including IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 certification
Modern workshop equipped with a dedicated MOT bay and onsite parking
Supportive team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction
Opportunities for career development within a growing brandDuties of a PDI Technician:
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles, ensuring quality standards are met
Prepare part-exchange vehicles for retail sale, maintaining dealership standards
Assist with sales preparation to ensure vehicles are retail-ready
Collaborate with technicians to support efficient workshop operations
Maintain high customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality work
Complete documentation accurately and adhere to health and safety guidelinesRequirements of a PDI Technician:
Level 3 qualified in MOT Testing and vehicle repairs
Proven experience in pre-delivery inspections and sales preparation
Positive attitude and team player mentality
Clean driving licence with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Certifications in IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 are required prior to startThis role is suitable for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive outlook.
