Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor
Due to the recent award of a framework contract which guarantees projects in the Northwest for the next five years, our client now wishes to strengthen their operational team with the appointment of an experienced Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor.
The main purpose of this position is to support the timely and successful delivery of projects in accordance with the contract programme, and without prejudice to the health and safety of employees, sub-contractors and the public, whilst also taking into full account all environmental considerations.
The Role & Required Experience
* Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted on site
* Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other characteristics of terrain to produce accurate volumetric information
* Prepare and process data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
* Take measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevations
* Processing data from site surveys for modelling and client reports
* Carry out the surveys and as-builts using related equipment (Trimble, Total Stations, GPS)
* Supporting various sites, teams and managers in the successful delivery of projects
* Literacy with industry related software (AutoCAD or N4CE for example)
* 3D laser scanning across various types of terrain and sites
