Are you an experienced Technical Writer with a background in GMP-regulated manufacturing? Do you have a talent for turning complex technical processes into clear, compliant documentation? If so, this Technical Writer could be perfect for you.
This Technical Writer is an onsite opportunity based in Petersfield. The working hours are Monday – Friday 8:15am – 4:30pm. The role is paying a competitive salary depending on experience. This is a 6 month FTC.
As the Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation that supports safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing operations. You'll author and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions (WKIs), deviation investigations, root cause analyses and CAPA documentation, ensuring all records meet GMP, GDP and site quality standards. Working closely with Compounding, Quality Assurance and Technical Support teams, you'll translate complex manufacturing processes into clear, inspection-ready documentation. You'll also support change management, maintain document control, identify opportunities to improve existing documentation and help ensure the site remains audit and inspection ready.
You will need:
Previous experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment or a scientific background with strong technical report writing experience
Experience writing SOPs, Work Instructions, investigations or other controlled technical documentation
A good understanding of GMP, GDP and quality management principles
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and compliance
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
Knowledge of deviation, CAPA or document management systems would be beneficial
