Sales Engineer – Machinery Sales
Norwich / Hybrid
£50,000 per annum plus bonus, company car
Service Service is recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering specialist industrial equipment across a range of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded engineer or technical sales professional to develop new business across the UK. Working closely with customers and internal engineering teams, you will provide tailored engineering solutions while managing projects from initial enquiry through to order.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners
* Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions
* Prepare quotations, technical proposals and sales documentation
* Manage projects from enquiry through to order placement
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
* Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events
About You
* Previous experience in technical or engineering sales
* Background selling industrial, electromechanical, automation or machinery equipment
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Able to understand and communicate technical solutions
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Full UK driving licence
