Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Newham. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and behavioural needs.
Role Details:
Location: Newham, East London
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Ongoing until the end of the academic year, with potential extension
Hours: Full-time, 8:00am-4:00pmResponsibilities:
Support students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and behavioural needs
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and development
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Build strong relationships with students and staffRequirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
Teaching Assistant or support work experience (desirable)
Bachelor's Degree (desirable)
Passion for education and supporting young people
