We are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a growing engineering manufacturer, to join its R&D team in Witney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the design and development of innovative products, taking projects from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities:
. Design and develop new and existing products.
. Build and test prototypes.
. Analyse test results and recommend improvements.
. Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs).
. Work closely with the engineering team to deliver successful projects.

The ideal candidate will have:
. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline.
. Experience in product design and development.
. Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and carry out product testing.
. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
