Street Scene Operative

Full\-Time \| Monday to Friday \| 7:00am – 3:00pm
Immediate Start – Monday 6th July
Temporary Contract (4–6 Weeks)

Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Street Scene Operative to join their Fleet & Street Scene team, carrying out shrub pruning and general grounds maintenance across the South Staffordshire area.
This is an urgent requirement, so applicants must be available to start immediately.

### The Role

Working as part of a dedicated Street Scene team, your duties will include:

Shrub pruning and hedge maintenance.

General grounds and street scene maintenance.

Using a range of hand-held horticultural equipment.

Working safely in public areas.

Assisting with other environmental maintenance duties as required.

Driving council vehicles where required.
### Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

A Full UK Driving Licence with C1 entitlement and CPC (essential).
Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or street scene work.
The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach.
Good awareness of health and safety.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A DVLA licence check will be required before starting.

### Working Hours

Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:00pm
Morning break: Approximately 10:00am (10 minutes)
Lunch: 12:30pm (30 minutes)
### What's on Offer

£13.05 per hour PAYE
Monday to Friday working – no weekends.
Immediate start available.
4–6 week temporary assignment with South Staffordshire Council.
