Salary: £33,628.01, plus Veolia benefits & Pension

Location: Veolia, Marchwood Oceanic Way, SO40 4BD
This role is based primarily from our modern Haulage office in Marchwood, however, you will be required to travel to our outpost depots in Alton, and Fareham

Hours: Full time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Start times between 6 AM & 7 AM, overtime is available

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the collection of Waste from Transfer Stations and HWRC Sites across the Hampshire Network. Our employees are the people that make the world go round. They make sure that the cities, towns and villages that you live in are safe, clean and warm. It may not always be glamorous, but their work really matters.

Main duties will include;

Undertaking the necessary daily driver checks as per the driver/operator handbook
Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and handled daily
Complying with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads
Ensuring you conform to all site rules when offloading and loading at disposal sites
Comply with all Health & Safety Regulations
Carrying out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line managerWhat we're looking for;

Essential:

Class 1 licence with a minimum of at least 1 years driving experience
Experience in Driving and Operating Roll on Roll Off vehicles
Valid Digital Tachograph
Card Valid Driver CPCDesirable:
