Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions.
- Clean, process, and analyse structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify meaningful patterns and insights.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and stakeholders to understand business challenges and define requirements.
- Create clear and effective documentation and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to improving data science workflows through participation in code reviews and best practice development.
- Monitor and maintain model performance, including retraining and validation.
Key Skills include:
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries (eg, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of data wrangling, statistics, and exploratory data analysis.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (eg, matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering practices.
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Understanding of model deployment techniques and MLOps.
- Awareness of AI ethics, fairness, and data privacy.
- Relevant qualifications (BSc/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields) would be beneficial.
