Beagle Aircraft is a leading aerospace manufacturer, producing precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes. As we continue to invest in our people, technology and future growth, we're looking for an experienced Technical Engineer to join our Engineering team.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering team, you'll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by developing technical documentation, defining manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and aerospace quality standards. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Production, you'll help deliver robust manufacturing processes and support Right First Time production.

Key Responsibilities

* Review customer specifications and engineering drawings to define manufacturing and technical requirements.

* Produce and maintain Local Control Documents (LCDs), Process Control Documents (PCDs) and other manufacturing documentation.

* Develop inspection plans and technical documentation to support production and product verification.

* Support Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications and aerospace standards.

* Maintain documentation supporting NADCAP approvals and other quality accreditations.

* Provide technical support across Engineering, Manufacturing, Inspection and Quality departments.

* Maintain technical specifications, process documentation and testing matrices.

* Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, documentation and technical standards.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong aerospace manufacturing background who enjoys solving technical challenges and improving manufacturing processes.

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience as a Technical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer within aerospace manufacturing.

* Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, metallic assemblies, welding, machining, composites and surface treatments.

* Experience creating and maintaining LCDs, PCDs and manufacturing control documentation.

* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and customer specifications.

* Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and approvals, including NADCAP.

* HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).

* Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous.

* Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
