Role Overview

The Team Leader (Night Shift) will play a key role in leading an operative-level team and will be accountable for health & safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery standards within the area. This is a hands-on leadership position within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting operational excellence and team development.

Shift Pattern:

Nights: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:30

Key Responsibilities

·Lead and supervise a team at operative level

·Promote strong leadership, communication, and organisational standards

·Monitor staffing levels and act upon staffing requirements

·Ensure all team members are trained to a competent level to carry out duties safely and correctly

·Maintain appropriate skill levels within the team

·Ensure all hygiene systems and relevant paperwork are completed accurately and on time

·Analyse, review, and communicate team performance regularly

·Understand and implement effective cleaning practices

·Manage staff rotas and holidays using TMS

·Understand and support environmental and allergen swabbing regimes

·Step up to Manager role to provide cover during holiday periods

·Promote a professional and positive attitude at all times

Skills & Experience

Essential:

·Minimum 2 year’s experience in an FMCG hygiene role

·Strong written and verbal communication skills
