Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver with a valid NRSWA Street Works Card looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and the chance to secure a permanent role?

Kent Art of the Street Works Team is looking for reliable, hardworking and professional drivers to join our growing team. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a supportive crew and take pride in delivering high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver within our Street Works Team, you will:

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
Transport personnel, tools, equipment and materials to Street Works sites across Kent.
Work as part of a two-person crew carrying out Street Works and reinstatement works.
Carry out excavations, reinstatements and repairs in accordance with NRSWA regulations.
Complete daily vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Deliver excellent customer service while working on the public highway.
Comply with all UK road transport legislation, health & safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with loading, unloading and general site duties as required.Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role and includes:

Regular heavy lifting and manual handling.
Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excavation, reinstatement and general Street Works duties.
Working as part of a close-knit team throughout the day.Essential Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Valid NRSWA Street Works Operative Card (Units LA1, O1-O6/O7 or equivalent).
Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.Desirable

NRSWA Supervisor Qualification (LA2/S1-S7).
Previous experience in Street Works, Utilities, Highways or Civil Engineering.
Experience operating plant and equipment (e.g. mini excavators, dumpers or rollers).
Valid CSCS Card.
Traffic Management qualifications.
HGV HIAB licence (advantageous but not essential).If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver with a valid NRSWA Street Works Operative Card looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of streetworks projects, requiring a responsible attitude and professional approach at all times.
