We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Bolton from September.
This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential both inside and outside the classroom. The school is looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant who can support students with a range of learning needs while contributing positively to the wider school environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support students in lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups

Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence
Support pupils with varying academic and additional learning needs
Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents where appropriate
Requirements
Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, care, or voluntary capacity
Previous tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, or mentoring experience is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
Ability to motivate and engage young people
A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
