Personal Assistant (PA) Location: Wallasey
Hours:16 hours per week (with occasional additional hours as required)
About the Role:
We are seeking a kind, reliable, and patient Personal Assistant to support a friendly and fun-loving 30-year-old woman who is a wheelchair user. This role involves providing both practical care and companionship, helping her to live an active and enjoyable lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistance with toileting and occasional support with changing clothing if required
Assisting with transfers, between wheelchair, bed, and car
Supporting with dressing, feeding, and preparing meals/lunch
Administering medication, including tablets and insulin pens (diabetes care)
Accompanying on outings such as shopping trips, meals out, and social activities
Offering companionship, including spending time together at home (e.g. cooking or rlaxing)
Someone with a lot of patience and understanding
Requirements:
Full UK driving license and access to a car
Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential (full guidance can be provided)
