Our client is an insurance agency in the West Midlands, currently seeking a Data Operations Technician. The chosen applicant will play a critical role in supporting the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data across insurance systems and processes. The individual will work within underwriting, claims, and policy administration environments. Training will be provided within all duties and responsibilities.

KEY DUTIES

* Input, validate, cleanse, and maintain insurance data across core systems

* Perform routine data quality checks, identify anomalies, and resolve discrepancies

* Support the standardisation and governance of data structures and definitions

* Ensure adherence to data accuracy, completeness, and consistency standards

* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks

* Support internal and external audits with accurate data provision

* Follow data governance best practices and security protocols

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* A proactive approach with a willingness to learn new systems and processes

* Ability to follow procedures and work within structured, regulated environments

* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and flag discrepancies
