Are you a passionate and caring childcare professional looking for a stable, long-term career in a supportive environment? Marylebone Services is delighted to recruit on behalf of a wonderful, independent, family-run nursery in Hendon.

We are seeking an Experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a dedicated team of four in a vibrant Pre-School room. Whether you are fully qualified or an experienced unqualified practitioner looking to gain formal credentials, we want to hear from you!

Why Join This Nursery?

This setting is not part of a corporate chain. It is a close-knit, family-run nursery where staff are genuinely valued, supported, and treated as part of a team. Management strongly believes in investing in their people—over the past 15 years, 95% of their staff have successfully gained qualifications or are currently studying for them through a fully funded program.

Fantastic Benefits Include:

* 25 days paid annual leave plus opportunities for additional annual leave.

* Twice-yearly bonuses to reward your hard work.

* Generous nursery closures: 2 weeks in March/April, 2 weeks at Christmas, plus Bank Holidays and select festival days.

* Fully funded training: If you are unqualified, a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification course will be arranged and overseen with a dedicated one-to-one tutor.

* A warm, stable, and highly supportive workplace where you can grow long-term.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help create a calm, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and inspired to learn through play.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a welcoming, organised, and engaging space where children feel comfortable and settled.

* Utilise your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support learning through daily routines and play.

* Monitor and track children's progress, sharing meaningful updates with parents and colleagues.

* Support children with daily routines while gently encouraging their confidence and independence.

You do not need a formal Early Years qualification to apply, but you must bring solid, practical experience and a true passion for childcare.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of consistent, solid, full-time work within a UK nursery setting.

* Strong familiarity with all aspects of the EYFS framework and nursery good practice.

* Kind, nurturing, reliable, organised, and a fantastic team player who enjoys supporting colleagues.

* Must have the right to work in the UK.

If you want to be a valued, long-term member of a beautiful nursery community rather than just a number in a chain, apply today
