Our client, a reputable multi-franchise-approved car dealership in Swansea, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to advance their career in a well-established dealership.

Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Group-performance bonus scheme of up to £2,400–£6,000 per year, paid monthly
Optional overtime at enhanced rates of time and a half

Opportunity to work with exciting new car brands in the UK market
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm; optional Saturday mornings
Long-term career progression within a large, stabilised dealership groupDuties:

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Ensure accurate diagnosis of vehicle faults and report findings to the Aftersales Manager
Maintain high standards of safety, safety and quality procedures as per company guidelines
Adhere to health & safety policies and manufacturer protocols at all times
Work efficiently within a busy environment, aiming to meet targets set by the dealership
Keep detailed records of work carried out, ensuring customer satisfaction
Assist with vehicle assessments, inspections, and diagnosticsRequirements as a Vehicle Technician Will Include:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Ideally 1–2 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving license with minimal points
Living within reasonable commuting distance of Swansea
Motivated team player with a professional attitude
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
Any experience with hybrid/electric vehicles or possession of an active MOT licence is highly desirable but not essentialIf you are a qualified Vehicle Technician seeking a role within a busy dealership offering excellent remuneration, ongoing training, and career development, this position is ideal.
