KS2 Teacher – Full Time
Location: Chester-le-Street, County Durham
Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Chester-le-Street to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who is keen to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development at the start of the academic year.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, fostering an engaging, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment, and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports all learners
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress effectively
Manage classroom behaviour to promote positive learning outcomes
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers
Contribute to whole-school activities, staff meetings and ongoing professional development
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
