As part of a growing assembly function, the Build Technician will support the assembly of high-performance vehicles within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment. Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you will contribute to both sub-assembly and full vehicle build activities, ensuring exceptional quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
The Build Technician will be responsible for:
* Assembling mechanical, electrical and composite components using engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
* Following build instructions, technical drawings and standard operating procedures to complete vehicle assemblies.
* Using hand tools, fixtures and workshop equipment to carry out sub-assembly and full vehicle build activities.
* Working collaboratively within a build team to deliver high-quality assemblies to demanding standards.
* Identifying and escalating issues relating to build processes, drawings or component quality.
* Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Build Technician will have:
* Experience in vehicle build, sub-assembly or component assembly within a motorsport, racing or high-performance automotive environment.
* Experience working within a professional motorsport or competition vehicle environment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation.
* Experience working independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with maintaining organised workshop environments and following structured processes.
* A proactive and collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
