Maintenance Electrician - Static
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the engineering team on a static site in Bradford. This is a permanent, static position within a busy food manufacturing environment, offering a stable Monday to Friday working pattern and an excellent salary.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background, with experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to all aspects of the building.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical aspects of the building.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Support mechanical maintenance activities where required.
Complete maintenance records and job reports accurately using the site's maintenance system.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and statutory regulations.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety at all times.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Level 3 Electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Previous experience within a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - No Standby
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary - Circa £40,000.
33 Days annual leave, pension
Monday to Friday working pattern, providing an excellent work-life balance.
