About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business for a Production Administrator to join their team.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that sits at the heart of the operation, providing administrative support across production, planning, customer service, logistics, and general office functions. The successful candidate will help ensure production schedules run smoothly and customer requirements are met on time.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting production activities to help meet customer delivery deadlines.

* Producing and maintaining accurate reports, records, labels, and production documentation.

* Processing customer orders and associated administration tasks.

* Coordinating shipments and liaising with courier services and suppliers.

* Monitoring production performance data and KPI reporting.

* Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams via phone and email.

* Supporting reception and general office administration duties when required.

* Maintaining holiday, absence, and timekeeping records.

* Assisting with maintenance administration, equipment servicing schedules, and supplier coordination.

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and providing cover for production planning activities as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

* Previous administration experience, ideally within manufacturing, production, engineering, or logistics.

* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

* Good communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and suppliers.

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

* The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.

* A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude.
