Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse environment. Duties
* Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and storage areas
* Wrapping and arranging pallets in the goods in/goods out areas of the warehouse.
* Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements
* Managing stock levels using a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements
* Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
* Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain standards
* Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times during daily operations
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
* Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including load and unload tasks
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and stock control
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
